About Me

I'm a  UX Researcher & Designer  with a Masters in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia (UBC). I focus on creating human-centered experiences through a combination of proven design principles and mixed-methods evaluations.

I currently work as an Associate User Researcher at Sprung Studios, in the field of Games User Research. I have previously worked with Dr. Stephanie Glegg (UBC Hospital) and Dr. Karon MacLean (UBC) in the field of user-centered design in healthcare. My primary interests lie in the domains of games and healthcare.

I've previously been a  UI/UX Designer Graphic Designer ,  Software Engineer , and   Web Developer  - basically anything that involves coding and design - and love carrying over skills from one discipline to another. I enjoy working with cross-functional teams and strongly believe interdisciplinary collaborations and stakeholder participation are key to good, inclusive, and accessible design.

In my free time, I wander around with my camera, or sketch on my iPad!

I'm always looking for  interesting UX research and design opportunities .  If you find my work interesting and would like to know more, I'd be happy to grab a (virtual?) cup of coffee sometime!
